I think tonight’s post will be short.
I’m tired and need to focus on the kids.
John’s back has been much worse today, he is now under the covers and thankfully sleeping.
He was in a lot of pain today.
Please pray for relief.
If he
doesn’t get better I’m not sure what we will do.
It’s difficult to manage the kids by myself, although I am able.
The problem is more complex.
We have a trip planned for Cosette and I to go to her orphanage in southern
China on Saturday and Sunday, and to leave John and Daniel in
Guangzhou.
This trip is very important for Cosette as she is going to have the opportunity to meet her foster family and see her orphanage.
Canceling the trip is not an option.
But leaving John in his current condition alone with Daniel is not an option either.
We have medication, but it only eases the pain slightly and makes John sleep.
That won’t help if he needs to keep up with a 6 year old boy.
I’
ve asked our guide to recommend a traditional Chinese massage to see if it helps, he may even be willing to
try acupuncture, we shall see.
Anyway, please lift John in your prayers.
A couple of pictures of our trip to the Banxi Water Caves, it was truly amazing but my camera’s flash couldn’t illuminate enough to get good pics. Sorry.
Blessings,
Tonya

Tonya and John, Praying for you now that John's back pain will ease. If you have ibuprofen it may help and won't cause you to be sleepy. You can take more than 2 at a time too. When my back hurts I take 3 and it normally does the trick.
Tonya,
I will pray for John and you all. I know how important it is the trip for Cossette.
On my last trip I had a bad lower back pain . I couldnt move for about 3 days. The dr. on white swan hopspital gave to me something that looks like a huge ban aid that I put in my back . The smell was sooooooo bad. I'm was sweating and wow the smell was like the band aid. Took like 2 days and WAS GONE! they said they want acupunture BUT NOT IN ME. I hate needles!
Hugs for you all

so sorry to hear about John's back still hurting. We'll keep praying. What a great experience for Coseete to see her SWI and foster family. Remember you are not alone. The Lord is right beside you holding you through all this. Pam (Dalian Group)
